2023 Trivium

Named for the Latin word meaning “A meeting of three roads,” this Syrah blend unites three vineyards in one expressive journey. A blend of three distinct expressions of Syrah, all grown in Colorado’s Grand Valley and aged for 18 months in French oak. This full-bodied wine opens with intense aromas and flavors of blackberry, plum, and black cherry. Subtle layers of black pepper, clove, licorice, and tobacco unfold gracefully, leading to a smoky, earthy finish. Balanced by moderate tannins and a long, lingering close.
